How to remove recycle bin in Windows 7

By default, when installing Windows 7, user has the recycle bin shown on his/hers desktop. There are many reasons to show or hide it, some want it for looks while other find it very handy. To remove  recycle bin in Windows 7 Operating System you need to follow the following steps..

  1. Click the Start button Picture of the Start button, go to Control Panel, click Appearance and Personalization, and then click Personalization.

  2. In the left pane, click Change desktop icons, and then do one of the following:

    • To remove the Recycle Bin from the desktop, clear the Recycle Bin check box.

    • To display the Recycle Bin on the desktop, select the Recycle Bin check box.

  3. Click OK.
